that have been dormant or forgotten, but to allow a safe space for the
emergence of your truest nature. To deeply & fully feel alive, grounded & expansive.
What if . . . we are able to transcend AND include all we have come to be & all that is still waiting for us to embody? What if we are able to feel greater intimacy & empowerment with ourselves & our environment? To transform limiting belief systems, whether conscious, subconscious or unconscious, & transcend beyond what we have ever fathomed possible?
Nalu means wave in Hawaiian. At Nalu we remember how to become the wave.
And in an ocean latent with the unknown, we remember not only that we are the wave,
but that we are the entire ocean. We remember how to be like water through
the biggest mystery of all~~~life.
What is NetworkSpinal?
At Nalu we practice one of the most innovative, researched & effective techniques within chiropractic called NetworkSpinal. During a NetworkSpinal entrainment, we dance together in alleviating spinal cord tension by liberating bound energy held in the central nervous system. We do this by utilizing a series of gentle touches at very
specific points called spinal gateways.
Meeting these spinal gateways through variously attuned contacts,
serves as a reminder for your own innate intelligence
to do what it knows best ~ self heal!
We are simply shining a light on what is already within;
amplifying what is already working.
Accessing the nervous system where it is open, energized, and ready to receive, as opposed to stuck or in pain, initiates the system to utilize the energy rich spaces to self-organize. Resulting in greater, more sustainable coherence in the nervous system.
This is a deep, embodied remembering into what it feels like to

I’ve really enjoyed experiencing Network Spinal & the techniques Ivan & Emerson have used on me during my sessions. Right after my first session, I noticed an immediate release in tension in my body. Wow… The past few months seeing Ivan and Emerson for Network Spinal care have been so powerful. My posture feels stronger, it feels more solid and even more connected. My body awareness has deepened. During the first session, I remember saying: “I’m feeling so much. It’s really beautiful. It’s like colors I forgot existed.” With their help I’ve identified somatic trauma habits in my body, so I can hold space for them and work with them intentionally. My husband started seeing Emmie for Rolfing after experiencing somewhat disappointing results from "traditional" Chiropractic. This is a man who honestly thought his back would never be pain free again, and yet the Rolfing has brought him great release of that pain and a better outlook. So I started seeing Emmie and Ivan, not sure which form of therapy they might use to help me with chronic neck and hip pain. I’ve been receiving Network treatments for several months now, and each session brings me closer to a physically, emotionally, and mentally healthier space. Using their great knowledge and instincts, Emmie and Ivan determined where I needed to start (Network first), and that alone is a testament to how in tune they are with their patients. I can’t really describe how they determine to focus on the points they do, or how they know to spend whatever time is spent on those points - they just know. Working with Ivan and Emerson has been vastly expansive and supportive; they both are lovely intelligent Beings. Ivan and Emerson did so much to free up tension in my body and emotions. They helped me conceptualize what we were doing with the spinal cord and the layers of freedom that open up from there. I have worked with many different bodywork practitioners over the years and I must say, that Emerson and Ivan are top tier. Emerson is so capable of tuning in and listening intently, patiently and persistently to what the body is needing. You can feel her focus and care. Unlike many other body workers that just bring you in, put you on the table and go through the same routine, Emerson has a kind of sixth sense for honing in on what is in need of treatment. She is both systematic and adaptive in her approach. Her attuned presence alone is enough to make years of stress and held tension melt away.
Though I have not yet worked as much with Ivan, I can feel the resonance in his practice as with Emerson. There is just a trust that you can feel when someone is abiding in themselves and believes in what they’re doing. Ivan has this. He is both present and relaxed and it just puts a person at ease being near him. You can feel the empathy he has and his practice is an outpouring of a genuine desire and commitment to helping people experience health, vitality, wellness and relief. These are true practitioners of the healing arts and I am so grateful that they exist.
